Welcome me!

Hello everyone!
I have been on standby for a while (too long!) now because of schoolwork..
But i'm here now and everything is gonna be alright :)

For my first post i would like you to meet one of the biggest artists out there at the moment:
Alex Gopher;
known to fuse funk, house and electronica in to big bangers that keep your head banging even when the song is finished.
For a good example check Alex Gopher - Belmondo (Original mix) (direct link)
Or his solo breakthrough Alex Gopher - Motorcycle (Original mix) (direct link)

Welcome to 2009!

I hope you've all enjoyed my tips throughout the Autumn! Hope you've had a great New Year's Eve and a great year whatsoever. I'm glad I could educate so many of my friend so easily through this blog. Now I feel that it's time to go on and take the step up to write more freely and more often. From now on I will write together with Pooh (a.k.a. my friend Karl from Belgium). You'll be seeing a lot more recent stuff and hopefully some oldie goldies for newbies and veterans alike to enjoy. Welcome aboard, Pooh! For a while there will not be much posting however, as we'd like to reform the page a bit and I will take some time off work and everything and head for vacation in the States spending time with friends (but I will probably work from there as well, haha). I'll let Pooh introduce himself and keep you updated! Have a nice beginning of the year! I'll see you in a few weeks! Here's a great remix by MR GASPAR, from LA just as LAZRtag you know!

Digitalism - Idealism

Did everyone have a good Christmas? Good, then we can get back to business! I remembered I've probably just sent out a few tracks before to you by Digitalism. Well, the truth is, DGTLSM is tha shit! Idealism lives up to its name, that's all I've got to say. Spin this at your New Year's Eve party and you're likely to get many up on the dancefloor! Hopefully not too many of your equally uneducated (hehe, just joking around with you ;P ) friends have heard this gem from 2007.

And oh, Brian! Yes, The Presets are signed to Modular and they are from Australia!

Nope, you don't have to check out an album this week. Let's take it a little easy before Christmas shall we? But LAZRtag is no reason to sit still. The young two dudes from LA have been kicking out colourful bangers for a year now or so. So there are a whole lotta remixes on Hypem to check out and also two original tracks this far. Download one of them here below!

Daft Punk - Human After All

Unfortunately, Discovery, Daft Punk's second album, is not enough electrohousy and danceclub-friendly to be on here. That's not what I was inteding to share with you. Human AFter All may not even be close to be as good as the two preceding albums but it's still a document on how Daft Punk could be "mediocre" and still deliver something that was groundbreaking and trendsetting for years to come to this date in dance and club music. And trust me here friends, when I say that Human After All is a GOOD album.

Boys Noize - Oi Oi Oi

Well well. What can I say? Boys Noize are absolutely killing it nonstop through Oi Oi Oi. Top class rave and definitely one of the best dance releases of 2007. I may have tipped you off with some Boys Noize remixes before but the original stuff is dope as well. Do as I say now and get yourselves an early Christmas gift! You're worth it, Boys Noize is worth it and Oi Oi Oi is worth it!

The Presets - Apocalypso

The Presets were undeniably the ones to best fuse pop with ravey electrohouse and funk in 2008. Apocalypso is a hell of a blast and I'd be feeling guilty if not turning you into this album before the year has ended. There's the incredible intro-song Kicking And Screaming, the beautiful Depeche Mode-y This Boy's In Love the hardcore My People and Together and the fonky Yippi-yo Ay to name a few reasons to purchase this album. Do so below now after checking out the track!
